Trump now 'not sure' about letting Ukraine build Patriot missiles
President Donald Trump said the United States has not agreed to let Ukraine produce Patriot interceptor missiles domestically, walking back an offer he made weeks earlier. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Trump had agreed to give Ukraine licenses for domestic Patriot production, and separately appealed for American air-defense missiles during a White House meeting, warning the country was running out of interceptors needed to shoot down Russian ballistic missiles. Trump said the technology is difficult to give away and cited concerns about who is licensed to use it, adding that envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff would visit Ukraine in the coming days.
