Kenneth Walker ran for two touchdowns as Los Angeles fell to 0-6 and heads into its bye without answers.
Kenneth Walker ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns and Patrick Mahomes threw for 272 yards as Kansas City beat the Chargers 22-6 on Sunday to move to 5-0. The Chiefs did it without injured receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton, leaning instead on Xavier Worthy, who caught seven passes for 73 yards, and Travis Kelce, who added five catches for 53 yards.
It was not a clean win. Kansas City struggled with short-yardage situations and Harrison Butker missed a PAT and a field-goal attempt, but the defense carried the day, sacking Justin Herbert four times to snap a three-game sackless streak. Herbert threw his eighth interception of the season, and receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith lost a fumble, extending a miserable stretch for Los Angeles.
The Chargers drop to 0-6 and head into their bye week with little to point to. The Chiefs, meanwhile, join San Francisco and Minnesota, both also 5-0, as the NFL's only unbeaten teams this season.
