The Bears quarterback was cagey at Friday's press conference but a social media post suggested he'll play against the Falcons.
Caleb Williams is reportedly set to start for the Bears this Sunday against the Falcons, ending a week of uncertainty about his availability.
At his Friday press conference, Williams gave little away when asked directly about his status for the game. He stayed coy with reporters, offering no firm confirmation either way.
Later that day, though, Williams posted on social media in a way that appeared to signal he intends to be under center this weekend. Reports following that post indicate the Bears are expected to activate him for the Week 6 matchup against Atlanta.
Chicago has not confirmed the move in an official statement, but the signs point toward Williams suiting up. If he does take the field, it ends the guessing game that dominated the lead-up to this matchup and gives the Bears clarity at the position heading into Sunday's game against the Falcons.
