Broncos win in overtime, but Bo Nix draws brutal review from analysts

Denver beat Seattle 17-14 in overtime on Thursday night, yet Amazon Prime analysts spent the postgame show tearing into quarterback Bo Nix's performance.

The Broncos survived the Seahawks 17-14 in overtime on Thursday night, but the win did little to quiet concerns about Bo Nix. On Amazon Prime's postgame show, analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick unloaded on the third-year quarterback, calling his performance "almost disrespectful to the quarterback position."

Fitzpatrick said Nix is "not playing competitively" and questioned his decision-making, pointing to a third-and-eight screen call as an example of a quarterback who "doesn't want to throw the ball." He added that Nix "has no trust from his coach" and said he could only imagine how head coach Sean Payton and offensive coordinator Davis Webb felt watching it unfold.

Fellow analyst Tony Gonzalez went further, suggesting Nix should be benched after the game. The criticism stands in contrast to the result on the scoreboard, where Denver knocked off the defending Super Bowl champions. For a Broncos team that got the win, the postgame conversation made clear plenty of people think the offense is still a problem.
