The early weeks have been less about teams playing great and more about previously trusted contenders looking shaky, which has thrown off plenty of prediction sheets.\n\nThe week opens Thursday night with Seahawks at Broncos, a matchup between two 2025 top seeds who are, as one analyst dryly noted, one loss away from matching last year's entire loss total. Primetime also features Packers-Cowboys and 49ers-Commanders, while the broader slate includes Bills at Raiders and Panthers at Eagles among the headline bouts.\n\nThe Bengals, Dolphins, Lions, and Vikings get a break this week with byes, leaving pickers to sort through the rest of the league. At least one outlet's tracker admitted a rough patch with primetime games, whiffing on every night game across the past two weeks, though a stronger showing in the rest of the games kept the overall record respectable, if unspectacular.\n\nWith odds and spreads out across the full slate of games, the picks are in. Now the teams just have to go play them.","published_at":"2026-10-15T17:19:56.150217+00:00","source_count":5,"written_from":[{"outlet":"SB Nation","publisher":"SB Nation","title":"NFL Expert Picks for Week 6","url":"https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/1132545/nfl-picks-week-6"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"NFL Expert Picks for Week 6","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/nfl-expert-picks-week-6-180000128.html"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Week 6 NFL odds, spreads, totals, lines for all 14 games, including Broncos-Seahawks, Packers-Cowboys","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/week-6-nfl-betting-odds-lines-spreads-totals/"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"PFT's Week 6 2026 NFL picks","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/pfts-week-6-2026-nfl-picks"},{"outlet":"The Athletic","publisher":"The Athletic","title":"NFL staff picks for Week 6: Cowboys-Packers, Bills-Raiders, Panthers-Eagles, more","url":"https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7687120/2026/10/15/nfl-picks-predictions-week-6-cowboys-packers-bills-raiders/"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Make your Week 6 NFL picks","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/week-6-nfl-picks-170000100.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"NFL Week 6 picks: Panthers defeat Eagles; Packers beat Cowboys","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/nfl-week-6-picks-panthers-100000016.html"},{"outlet":"SB Nation","publisher":"SB Nation","title":"NFL picks 2026: Full list of Week 6 predictions with confidence levels","url":"https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/1132448/nfl-picks-week-6-complete-list-straight-up-confidence-upsets-snf-mnf-tnf"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Full list of Week 6 straight-up picks with confidence levels","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/full-list-week-6-straight-110000020.html"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"NFL Week 6 picks: Our experts face off on Seahawks at Broncos, Ravens at Browns and more","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-6-picks-experts-on-seahawks-broncos-ravens-browns/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Week 6 NFL Survivor strategy and picks","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/week-6-nfl-survivor-strategy-120000256.html"},{"outlet":"SB Nation","publisher":"SB Nation","title":"NFL survivor picks, strategy: Week 6 safe, value, and trap options","url":"https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/1132433/nfl-survivor-picks-strategy-week-6-safe-value-trap"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"PFT's Week 6 2026 NFL picks","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/pfts-week-6-2026-nfl-151717995.html"}],"image":{"url":"https://platform.sbnation.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/10/gettyimages-2299732305.jpg?quality=90&strip=all&crop=0%2C10.72581223553%2C100%2C78.548375528939&w=1200","credit":"SB Nation","width":5476},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
