White was shot in the ankle at a crowded Mission District nightclub where he was hosting a private Super Bowl party.
San Francisco police have arrested four men in connection with the shooting of 49ers defensive lineman Keion White, officials said Wednesday.
The shooting happened just after 4 a.m. on Feb. 9 at the Dahlia nightclub in the Mission District, where White was hosting a private Super Bowl party. Police Chief Derrick Lew said multiple suspects with firearms confronted White that night. He was shot in the ankle and taken to a local hospital for surgery, according to the team.
Lew said the four arrests came over the past week, with help from law enforcement agencies in Atlanta, Stockton, Irvine and Los Angeles. Investigators relied on video footage and witness accounts to identify the suspects.
White has been with the 49ers since the shooting, and no further details on potential charges were immediately available.
