Brewers one win from World Series as Game 4 looms

Milwaukee carries a 3-0 NLCS lead into Dodger Stadium looking to sweep its way to the franchise's first pennant since 1982.

The Brewers head into Game 4 of the NLCS on Thursday night at Dodger Stadium holding a 3-0 series lead over the Dodgers, one win from reaching the World Series for the first time since 1982. Milwaukee took Game 3 by a score of 6-2 and has not yet named a starter for Game 4, while Tyler Glasnow gets the ball for Los Angeles carrying a 1.93 ERA over 4.2 innings this postseason.

The Brewers have been led offensively by David Hamilton, batting .429, Jackson Chourio, who has 7 RBI, and William Contreras, who has hit 3 home runs. On the mound, Jacob Misiorowski has racked up 11 strikeouts this postseason. For the Dodgers, Miguel Rojas is hitting .333, Freddie Freeman has 3 RBI, and Max Muncy has 3 home runs, while Blake Snell has struck out 14.

A sweep would hand Milwaukee a measure of payback after Los Angeles swept the Brewers in last year's NLCS. Should the Dodgers instead find a way to win Thursday, the series would shift back for a Game 5 on Friday night.
