After 400 miles and 267 laps, the margin at the checkered flag was 0.029 seconds.\n\nThe finish got physical. Briscoe ran the outside line while Bell dove to the inside in the final corner, and the two made contact in Turn 4. Both somehow kept their cars straight and off the wall, with Briscoe crossing first and Bell settling for second. Ryan Blaney finished third, Josh Berry was fourth, and Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.\n\nIt is Briscoe's second consecutive playoff win, and it matters more than the trophy. The result moved him up to fourth in the standings, putting him within striking distance of the championship leaders with four races left in the playoffs. For a driver chasing his first Cup title, back-to-back wins is about as strong a case as he can make heading into the stretch run.","published_at":"2026-10-13T04:46:28.436033+00:00","source_count":4,"written_from":[{"outlet":"ESPN","publisher":"ESPN","title":"Briscoe holds off Bell in Charlotte to win second straight playoff race","url":"https://www.espn.com/racing/nascar/story/_/id/50161624/chase-briscoe-wins-charlotte-holds-teammate-christopher-bell"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Chase Briscoe beats Christopher Bell by 0.029s in stunning NASCAR Cup photo finish","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/chase-briscoe-beats-christopher-bell-223755087.html"},{"outlet":"The Athletic","publisher":"The Athletic","title":"NASCAR Charlotte takeaways: Chase Briscoe wins in photo finish to keep title hopes alive","url":"https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7682314/2026/10/11/nascar-charlotte-takeaways-chase-briscoe-wins-playoffs-denny-hamlin-kyle-larson/"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Who won NASCAR Charlotte race?
