The Cowboys erased a 10-point halftime deficit to beat the Texans 34-30 on Sunday, improving to 2-2, and now have just three days to turn around for a Thursday night matchup with Tampa Bay.\n\nThe Buccaneers arrive at 0-4 after a 17-14 loss to Green Bay. The record undersells how competitive Tampa Bay has actually been this season. Injuries, shaky quarterback play, and a stalled offense have been the story through the first month, but the defense has kept the team in games.\n\nAdding to the Buccaneers' trouble, they will not have the quarterback they expected to lead them into Dallas for this short-week trip.\n\nDallas will look to carry the momentum from its second-half rally into a quick turnaround, while Tampa Bay is still searching for its first win of the season.","published_at":"2026-10-08T19:17:55.251375+00:00","source_count":4,"written_from":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo
