A 2-0 win at FC Cincinnati on Decision Day gave Nashville 77 points, topping the mark set by Inter Miami in 2024.
Nashville SC closed out the MLS regular season with a 2-0 win at FC Cincinnati, pushing their point total to 77 and setting a new single-season league record. The previous mark of 74 points belonged to Inter Miami CF, who posted that total in 2024 with Lionel Messi leading the attack.
Nashville finished the year 23W-3L-8D, numbers that also set league records of their own: most wins in the post-shootout era, most home wins with 15, best points per game at 2.26, fewest losses with 3, and fewest goals allowed at 25. It capped the best-ever start to a season for the club.
The record run came in B.J. Callaghan's second full season as head coach and arrived alongside Nashville's first-ever Supporters' Shield title. The old top five of MLS points leaders now reads Nashville (2026, 77), Inter Miami (2024, 74), New England Revolution (2021, 73), LAFC (2019, 72) and Red Bull New York (2018, 71), with Nashville now sitting alone at the top of that list heading into the playoffs.
