Left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. will also be active for the game, according to sources.\n\nTyson, 22, missed the first seven games of the season and most of the preseason recovering from a hamstring injury. New Orleans took him eighth overall in this year's draft hoping he could stretch the field for second-year quarterback Tyler Shough and give the passing game another weapon.\n\nIn a corresponding roster move, the Saints released running back Kendre Miller.\n\nChris Olave remains New Orleans' top receiver, and Tyson may initially work behind Devaughn Vele in the rotation. His college coach at Arizona State, Hines Ward, reportedly has a message ready for Tyson once he records his first NFL catch.","published_at":"2026-11-07T23:49:20.417156+00:00","source_count":3,"written_from":[{"outlet":"ESPN","publisher":"ESPN","title":"Sources: Saints to activate WR Tyson, LT Banks vs. Browns","url":"https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/50410541/sources-saints-activate-wr-jordyn-tyson-lt-kelvin-banks"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"BREAKING: Jordyn Tyson off of injured reserve, will play vs. Browns","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/breaking-jordyn-tyson-off-injured-182752987.html"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"Jordyn Tyson listed as questionable to make Saints debut this week","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/jordyn-tyson-listed-as-questionable-to-make-saints-debut-this-week"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Final Saints vs. Browns Injury Report: Jordyn Tyson and Kelvin Banks Jr. are questionable","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/final-saints-vs-browns-injury-082700846.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Saints get exciting news on Jordyn Tyson's odds to play in Week 9","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/saints-exciting-news-jordyn-tysons-180128262.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Saints rookie WR Jordyn Tyson plans to make debut vs. Browns after missing first 7 games with hamstring injury: Report","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/breaking-news/article/saints-rookie-wr-jordyn-tyson-plans-to-make-debut-vs-browns-after-missing-first-7-games-with-hamstring-injury-report-180624677.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Saints activate Kelvin Banks, Jordyn Tyson","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/saints-activate-kelvin-banks-jordyn-212323544.html"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"Saints activate Kelvin Banks, Jordyn Tyson","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/saints-activate-kelvin-banks-jordyn-tyson"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Saints activate receiver Jordyn Tyson and left tackle Kelvin Banks, cut running back Kendre Miller","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/saints-activate-receiver-jordyn-tyson-213413854.html"}],"image":{"url":"https://nbcsports.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/35c0482/2147483647/strip/false/crop/1920x1080+0+0/resize/1920x1080!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhdliveextra-a.akamaihd.net%2FHD%2Fimage_sports%2FNBCU_Sports_Group_-_nbcsports%2F759%2F78%2FGettyImages-2297821324_copy.jpg","credit":"Pro Football Talk","width":1920},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
