According to reports from ESPN and NFL Network, Indianapolis has engaged in trade discussions involving Jones this week, though the club has reportedly told interested parties he is not available.\n\nThe Ravens are named as one team that checked in on Jones, but Baltimore has since addressed its quarterback situation elsewhere, striking a deal with the Cardinals for Jacoby Brissett after his drop to third on Arizona's depth chart signaled he was gettable. The Vikings remain the team most persistently linked to Jones, though that connection has so far been described as speculation rather than an active pursuit.\n\nJones was supposed to be the answer at quarterback for Indianapolis, which makes the idea of moving him notable given the franchise's broader roster turnover this season. For now, the Colts' public stance is that he stays, even as the calls keep coming in before Tuesday's 4:00 PM ET deadline.","published_at":"2026-11-07T18:07:21.273413+00:00","source_count":4,"written_from":[{"outlet":"New York Post","publisher":"New York Post","title":"Colts having discussions with multiple teams over Daniel Jones as trade buzz heats up","url":"https://nypost.com/2026/11/07/sports/colts-have-having-discussions-with-teams-over-daniel-jones-trade/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Tracking latest trade reports and rumors around Colts' QB Daniel Jones","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/tracking-latest-trade-reports-rumors-193742454.html"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"Report: Colts are in trade talks regarding QB Daniel Jones","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-colts-are-in-trade-talks-regarding-qb-daniel-jones"},{"outlet":"ESPN","publisher":"ESPN","title":"Sources: Colts engaged in Jones trade talks as multiple teams inquire about QB","url":"https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/50403440/sources-colts-engaged-daniel-jones-trade-talks"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Insider confirms Colts getting ‘multiple’ Daniel Jones trade calls","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/insider-confirms-colts-getting-multiple-141740615.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Report: Colts are in trade talks regarding QB Daniel Jones","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/report-colts-trade-talks-regarding-145401899.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Daniel Jones landing spots: 3 potential trade destinations for Colts QB","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/daniel-jones-landing-spots-3-151851683.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Latest Daniel Jones update is bad news for teams who need QB at NFL trade deadline","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/latest-daniel-jones-bad-news-151421529.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Colts reportedly entertaining Daniel Jones trade discussions ahead of deadline","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/colts-reportedly-entertaining-daniel-jones-trade-discussions-ahead-of-deadline-170544869.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Colts reportedly ‘not interested’ in moving QB Daniel Jones ahead of trade deadline","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/colts-reportedly-not-interested-moving-174236610.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Colts reportedly open to trading Daniel Jones after disastrous start","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/colts-reportedly-open-trading-daniel-022804463.html"}],"image":{"url":"https://nypost.com/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F2%2F2026%2F11%2Findianapolis-colts-quarterback-daniel-jones-147221709.jpg?w%3D1024","credit":"New York Post","width":4057},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
