Outlets across the board are rolling out their picks for the full slate, with the standard caveat applying to all of them: picking winners is easy to promise and hard to deliver.\n\nPFT's picker opened the week riding high after going 13-0 through Sunday of Week 8, only to get knocked down by a loss on Monday night with the Seahawks over the Bears pick. That leaves the season tally at 73-49-1, a 59.3 percent clip, with the Steelers and Titans sitting out this week while the other 30 teams play. The marquee Thursday night matchup has the Jaguars heading to Baltimore to face the Ravens, with the pick favoring Jacksonville despite the short-week trap potential. The Bengals and Falcons also meet, this time overseas in Madrid.\n\nElsewhere, other outlets are highlighting their own marquee games, including Bills-Vikings, 49ers-Raiders and Packers-Patriots, with most experts largely in agreement on three of those matchups and split on the fourth. The NFC North looks strong, the NFC South looks shaky, and the NFC West is shaping up as a dogfight through the rest of the year.","published_at":"2026-11-05T18:04:38.980289+00:00","source_count":5,"written_from":[{"outlet":"SB Nation","publisher":"SB Nation","title":"NFL Expert Picks for Week 9","url":"https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/1135208/nfl-picks-week-9"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Week 9 NFL score predictions, best picks today: Expert reveals exact scores for every NFL game","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/nfl-score-predictions-top-picks-bets-today-week-9-2026/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Make your Week 9 NFL picks","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/week-9-nfl-picks-180000534.html"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"PFT's Week 9 2026 NFL picks","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/pfts-week-9-2026-nfl-picks"},{"outlet":"The Athletic","publisher":"The Athletic","title":"NFL staff picks for Week 9: Bills-Vikings, 49ers-Raiders, Packers-Patriots, more","url":"https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7754354/2026/11/05/nfl-staff-picks-week-9-49ers-bills-packers/"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Week 9 NFL score predictions, best picks today: Expert reveals exact scores for every NFL game","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/nfl-score-predictions-top-picks-today-week-9-2026/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"7 key fantasy football predictions: Don't expect huge Week 9 for Joe Borrow","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/7-key-fantasy-football-predictions-185948033.html"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"NFL Week 9 picks: Our experts face off on Jaguars at Ravens, Bengals vs. Falcons and more","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-9-picks-experts-face-off-jaguars-ravens-bengals-falcons/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Jaguars vs. Ravens odds, picks, NFL Week 9 prediction: Best bets, player props for Thursday Night Football","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/jaguars-vs-ravens-odds-picks-nfl-week-9-prediction-best-bets-player-props-for-thursday-night-football/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"PFT's Week 9 2026 NFL picks","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/pfts-week-9-2026-nfl-155659734.html"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Pick Six: Ravens-Jags picks, plus what you need to know about the NFL heading into Week 9","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/pick-six-ravens-jags-picks-what-to-know-about-nfl-week-9/"}],"image":{"url":"https://nbcsports.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/1e442d2/2147483647/strip/false/crop/1920x1080+0+0/resize/1920x1080!/quality/90/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhdliveextra-a.akamaihd.net%2FHD%2Fimage_sports%2FNBCU_Sports_Group_-_nbcsports%2F653%2F123%2Fnbc_pftpm_darnoldout_261104.jpg","credit":"Pro Football Talk","width":1920},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
