Tyler Huntley suffered a turf toe injury during Sunday's 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills that was severe enough to keep him out of the rest of that game, and further testing has now confirmed it will end his season. He is expected to undergo surgery.\n\nThe news lands days after Lamar Jackson went down with a right thumb injury on Baltimore's first play against Buffalo and is headed to injured reserve. That leaves the Ravens without their top two quarterbacks heading into a Thursday night matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.\n\nHead coach Jesse Minter has little choice but to hand the job to undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano, with Kedon Slovis and Austin Reed behind him as depth. It is about as thin as a quarterback room gets in the middle of an NFL season, and the Ravens will have to find out in a hurry whether Fagnano is ready for it.","published_at":"2026-11-04T23:33:22.238429+00:00","source_count":4,"written_from":[{"outlet":"The Athletic","publisher":"The Athletic","title":"Ravens QB Tyler Huntley to miss remainder of season with turf toe: Reports","url":"https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7753057/2026/11/04/ravens-tyler-huntley-injury-joe-fagnano-jaguars/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Ravens updated QB depth chart after Tyler Huntley's season-ending injury","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ravens-updated-qb-depth-chart-170005878.html"},{"outlet":"New York Post","publisher":"New York Post","title":"Ravens get nightmare Tyler Huntley injury update as season hangs in the balance","url":"https://nypost.com/2026/11/04/sports/ravens-get-nightmare-tyler-huntley-injury-update-as-season-hangs-in-the-balance/"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"Report: Tyler Huntley to miss the rest of 2026 season","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-tyler-huntley-to-miss-the-rest-of-2026-season"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Ravens QB Tyler Huntley out for season with turf toe injury","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ravens-qb-tyler-huntley-season-123707038.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Baltimore Ravens QB Tyler Huntley reportedly suffers season-ending turf toe injury","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/breaking-news/article/baltimore-ravens-qb-tyler-huntley-reportedly-suffers-season-ending-turf-toe-injury-123416081.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Report: Tyler Huntley to miss the rest of 2026 season","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/report-tyler-huntley-miss-rest-124810514.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Ravens lose backup QB to season-ending injury, per reports","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ravens-lose-backup-qb-season-141650345.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Tyler Huntley out for season","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/tyler-huntley-season-153018590.html"}],"image":{"url":"https://nypost.com/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F2%2F2026%2F11%2Ftyler-huntley-5-baltimore-ravens-147231100.jpg?w%3D1024","credit":"New York Post","width":4901},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
