They do not contain information about any completed game, player action, trade, injury, or other newsworthy event.\n\nBecause the editorial standards for this desk require reporting on what actually happened rather than odds or betting talk, there is no factual event here to lead a story with. Writing a piece based on these sources would mean relaying predictions and spreads, which falls outside the scope of a straight news item about a sports happening.\n\nNo story can be responsibly produced from this material without describing betting lines, which is explicitly outside the bounds of acceptable content. Once sources describing an actual game result or newsworthy development become available, a proper story can be written.","published_at":"2026-11-03T22:20:02.142376+00:00","source_count":4,"written_from":[{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Week 9 NFL odds, picks, predictions: Computer model backs Chiefs and Commanders","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/nfl-odds-picks-predictions-week-9-2026/"},{"outlet":"ESPN","publisher":"ESPN","title":"Week 9 betting odds for every game","url":"https://www.espn.com/espn/betting/story/_/id/50358691/2026-nfl-week-9-schedule-odds-point-spreads-totals"},{"outlet":"Fox Sports","publisher":"Fox Sports","title":"2026 NFL Odds Week 9: Lines, Spreads, Results For All 15 Games","url":"https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/2026-nfl-odds-week-9-lines-spreads-results-all-15-games"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"NFL Week 9 odds, betting: Full list of Week 9 spreads","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/betting/article/nfl-week-9-odds-betting-full-list-of-week-9-spreads-144924951.html"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Week 9 NFL odds, lines, totals, spreads for every game, including Jaguars-Ravens, Jets-Chiefs, Giants-Eagles","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/week-9-nfl-betting-odds-lines-totals-spreads/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Week 9 NFL odds, picks, predictions: Computer model backs Chiefs and Commanders","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/nfl-odds-picks-predictions-bets-week-9-2026/"}],"image":null,"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
