The Eagles rank 30th in the NFL in points per game, but Tanner McKee stays at quarterback and Sean Mannion stays as play-caller.
Nick Sirianni said Monday he will not shake up his offense despite the Eagles losing six straight games. Sean Mannion remains the play-caller and Tanner McKee stays the starting quarterback, with Jalen Hurts out for the season.
"I'm not making any changes there," Sirianni said, via Tim McManus of ESPN, addressing questions about his coaching staff. He called the situation a shared problem rather than one person's failure, noting it is "the ultimate team game" and that the coaches are "in the problem-solving business."
Sirianni acknowledged the offense is not getting the job done right now, with Philadelphia sitting 30th in the league in points per game. He put the responsibility on himself and Mannion to find answers, saying "that brunt falls on myself; that falls on Sean; and we're going to do everything we can to get ourselves out o" of the slump.
For now, the Eagles are betting that continuity, not change, is the fix. Whether that patience pays off will show up in how the offense performs as the losing streak continues.
