The Vikings quarterback was moving gingerly late in the 19-15 defeat and his status remains unclear.
Kyler Murray was under evaluation on Monday for hamstring soreness that developed during Minnesota's 19-15 loss at Detroit, the team's first defeat of the season.
Murray didn't miss any snaps in the game, but he was visibly moving gingerly down the stretch against the Lions. He said afterward that he had been dealing with hamstring tightness late in the contest, and the issue was still present the next day.
The Vikings have not yet said whether Murray's availability for the coming matchup against the Bills is in question. Despite the uncertainty, the team's stated plan is to start him in Week 9 if he is deemed healthy enough to play.
For now, Murray's practice participation and any further evaluation will determine whether that plan holds. Minnesota will presumably update his status as the week progresses and as the hamstring responds to treatment.
