It contains accounts from three more women who told police Jacobs physically abused them in separate incidents in 2021 and 2022. Jacobs denies all three accounts. The new allegations come in addition to a May incident that led to his arrest.\n\n\"Obviously we're aware of the prior allegations on Josh. We're going to allow the NFL to do its process, but I would anticipate him being a member of us moving forward. That's really all I have to speak on,\" LaFleur told reporters.\n\nIt is not the first time LaFleur has used that phrasing. \"I fully anticipate him being a member of our team,\" he said on Aug. 28 after the preseason finale, before this latest batch of allegations emerged. The NFL's process on the matter is ongoing.","published_at":"2026-11-02T23:20:46.962309+00:00","source_count":5,"written_from":[{"outlet":"New York Post","publisher":"New York Post","title":"Packers coach gives Josh Jacobs update after new disturbing allegations","url":"https://nypost.com/2026/11/02/sports/packers-coach-matt-lafleur-gives-josh-jacobs-update-after-new-allegations/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers HC Matt LaFleur addresses Josh Jacobs’ future after new abuse allegations surface","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/packers-hc-matt-lafleur-addresses-231046357.html"},{"outlet":"ESPN","publisher":"ESPN","title":"Packers sticking with RB Jacobs despite latest abuse allegations","url":"https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/50360755/packers-sticking-rb-jacobs-latest-abuse-allegations"},{"outlet":"Pro Football Talk","publisher":"NBC Sports","title":"Matt LaFleur: I anticipate Josh Jacobs being part of the team moving forward","url":"https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/matt-lafleur-i-anticipate-josh-jacobs-being-part-of-the-team-moving-forward"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers RB Josh Jacobs denies wrongdoing after abuse allegations by 3 other women following May arrest","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/article/packers-rb-josh-jacobs-denies-wrongdoing-after-abuse-allegations-by-3-other-women-following-may-arrest-225230618.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers updates on Josh Jacobs, Micah Parsons, Zaire Franklin, others","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/packers-updates-josh-jacobs-micah-194330380.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Matt LaFleur: I anticipate Josh Jacobs being part of the team moving forward","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/matt-lafleur-anticipate-josh-jacobs-195707427.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Matt LaFleur says Packers will stick with running back Josh Jacobs","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/matt-lafleur-says-packers-stick-195818072.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Josh Jacobs’ status with team unchanged","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/packers-coach-matt-lafleur-said-200158548.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Josh Jacobs’ status with team unchanged","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/packers-coach-matt-lafleur-said-200158850.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers not making Josh Jacobs move despite more allegations, per Matt LaFleur","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/packers-not-making-josh-jacobs-213126909.html"},{"outlet":"Fox Sports","publisher":"Fox Sports","title":"Packers Plan To Keep Josh Jacobs On Roster As NFL Conducts Investigation","url":"https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/packers-plan-keep-josh-jacobs-roster-nfl-conducts-investigation"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Packers HC Confronts Josh Jacobs Over Celebration","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/packers-hc-confronts-josh-jacobs-010117449.html"}],"image":{"url":"https://nypost.com/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F2%2F2026%2F11%2Fmugshot-photo-packers-running-back-138703977.png?w%3D873","credit":"New York Post","width":1117},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
