Bears and Seahawks set for Monday night showdown in Seattle

Chicago brings a 5-2 record and a returning Caleb Williams into Lumen Field to face a Seattle team riding a win over Kansas City.

The Chicago Bears head to Lumen Field tonight to take on the Seattle Seahawks in a Week 8 prime-time matchup that doubles as a battle of two of the NFC's better defenses. Seattle sits at 4-3 and second in the NFC West, allowing 17.9 points per game, while Chicago is 5-2 and tied for second in the NFC North, giving up 20.4 points per game.

The Seahawks come in off a 20-3 win over Kansas City in Week 7 and are 3-1 at home this season. The Bears, meanwhile, beat New England 30-24 on the road last Thursday and opened the year by hanging 59 points on Carolina in Week 1. Chicago is 2-1 away from Soldier Field.

The headline storyline for Chicago is the return of quarterback Caleb Williams, back after a hamstring injury sidelined him for Weeks 3 through 5. Williams has topped 300 passing yards in recent outings and gives the Bears offense a different look against a Seattle defense that has been stingy all season.

Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lumen Field in Seattle, with both sides looking to pad their records in a crowded NFC playoff picture.
