Red Sox and Diamondbacks lead 2026 Gold Glove winners with three apiece

Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman and Mets pitcher Nolan McLean were among the award recipients announced Sunday.

Major League Baseball handed out its Rawlings Gold Glove awards on Sunday, November 1, and the Red Sox and Diamondbacks topped the field with three winners each.

Boston's haul included right fielder Wilyer Abreu, who won for the third year in a row, center fielder Ceddanne Rafaela, a winner for the second straight season, and third baseman Caleb Durbin, a first-time honoree. Arizona countered with catcher Gabriel Moreno winning his second Gold Glove and first since 2023, along with first-time winners shortstop Geraldo Perdomo and right fielder Corbin Carroll.

Elsewhere, Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman picked up the National League honor at his position, while Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong won his second career Gold Glove. Yankees outfielder Cody Bellinger claimed his second Gold Glove as well. First basemen Christian Walker of Houston and Matt Olson of Atlanta each won for the fourth time, with Olson previously winning in 2018, '19 and '25 and Walker in 2022, '23 and '24. Braves utility man Mauricio Dubon earned his third Gold Glove.

Mets pitcher Nolan McLean made history for New York, ending a team drought at the position dating back to 2014, when Juan Lagares won in center field, and becoming the first Mets pitcher to win since Ron Darling in 1989.
