A video circulating on social media shows players from both teams getting into a heated exchange that required staff and teammates to step in and separate them.\n\nThe incident capped a tense buildup to a game with plenty on the line. Ohio State arrived off a bye week looking to extend its winning streak after knocking off CFP titleholder Indiana, while USC came in looking to snap a rough patch following a loss at Wisconsin.\n\nThe shoving and shouting match didn't delay kickoff, but it set an edgy tone for a matchup between a Big Ten contender chasing history and a Trojans team trying to right the ship. No penalties or ejections tied to the scuffle have been reported.","published_at":"2026-11-01T23:19:04.454051+00:00","source_count":3,"written_from":[{"outlet":"New York Post","publisher":"New York Post","title":"USC, Ohio State players nearly come to blows in heated pregame scene","url":"https://nypost.com/2026/10/31/sports/usc-ohio-state-players-heated-exchange-big-ten-football/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"How to watch Ohio State vs USC: Live stream NCAA College Football, TV channel","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/watch-ohio-state-vs-usc-222500001.html"},{"outlet":"Fox Sports","publisher":"Fox Sports","title":"How to Watch Oklahoma State vs. Iowa State: TV Channel, Live Stream, Time","url":"https://www.foxsports.com/stories/college-football/how-to-watch-oklahoma-state-vs-iowa-state-tv-channel-live-stream-time-oct-31-2026"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Fox Sports","publisher":"Fox Sports","title":"How to Watch Ohio State vs. USC: TV Channel, Live Stream, Time","url":"https://www.foxsports.com/stories/college-football/how-to-watch-ohio-state-vs-usc-tv-channel-live-stream-time-oct-31-2026"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"ESPN College GameDay crew predicts winner of Ohio State vs. USC","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/espn-college-gameday-crew-predicts-161617678.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Where To Watch USC vs. Ohio State: TV, Stream, and Game Time","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/where-watch-usc-vs-ohio-163012419.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Ohio State football vs. USC predictions from Buckeyes Wire staff","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ohio-state-football-vs-usc-202232575.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"How to live stream USC vs Ohio State for free: Watch College Football, TV channel","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/live-stream-usc-vs-ohio-213000587.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Ohio State vs. USC game chat: Live updates from Week 9","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ohio-state-vs-usc-game-220100471.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"3 halftime observations from Ohio State vs. USC","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/3-halftime-observations-ohio-state-015614414.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"USC takes down No. 2 Ohio State for its biggest Big Ten win yet","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/college-football/breaking-news/article/usc-takes-down-no-2-ohio-state-for-its-biggest-big-ten-win-yet-030830714.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Ohio State CFP hopes just got complicated.
