Trade rumors have followed Baker as the Cardinals navigate a rough stretch, and his willingness to face questions about his future while in full costume gave the exchange an odd split tone: lighthearted on the surface, serious underneath.\n\nBaker has long been one of Arizona's most reliable defensive pieces, which is exactly why his name keeps surfacing in trade conversations. Whether the rumors amount to anything remains unclear, but Baker's decision to meet the moment with a mask rather than a scowl suggests he is not letting the noise rattle him publicly.\n\nFor now, the costume is the headline image, even as the underlying question about Baker's future in Arizona stays unresolved.","published_at":"2026-10-30T22:50:35.094986+00:00","source_count":3,"written_from":[{"outlet":"New York Post","publisher":"New York Post","title":"Budda Baker addresses trade rumors in full Halloween costume","url":"https://nypost.com/2026/10/30/sports/budda-baker-addresses-trade-rumors-in-full-halloween-costume/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"LOOK: Cardinals' Budda Baker addresses trade rumors while wearing Halloween costume","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/cardinals-budda-baker-addresses-trade-rumors-while-wearing-halloween-costume/"},{"outlet":"Awful Announcing","publisher":"Awful Announcing","title":"Budda Baker addresses trade rumors in full Halloween garb","url":"https://awfulannouncing.com/nfl/budda-baker-addresses-trade-rumors-halloween-mask.html"}],"more_coverage":[],"image":{"url":"https://nypost.com/wp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F2%2F2026%2F10%2Fbudda-baker-3-arizona-cardinals-147010103.jpg?w%3D1024","credit":"New York Post","width":7432},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
