The 6-foot-2 guard out of Second Baptist High School in Houston ranks ninth overall in his cycle on the 247Sports Composite and picked up first-team MaxPreps Junior All-America honors.\n\nAsked why LSU, Alston pointed to his relationship with Wade. \"The trust I have in coach Wade,\" he told 247Sports. \"I'm not even his player yet — we've known each other for, like, a couple of months — but we've been through so much already.
