DraftKings lists the Dodgers as 2027 favorites just days after Los Angeles got swept by Milwaukee in the NLCS.
The Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays in five games to win the 2026 World Series, the first title in franchise history and their first Fall Classic trip since 1982. The celebration lasted about as long as it takes oddsmakers to post a new board.
DraftKings Sportsbook has the Dodgers as the 2027 favorites at +310, with the newly crowned Brewers right behind at +500. The Yankees sit third at +700, the only other team with single-digit odds, followed by the Red Sox at +1100 and the Mariners and Phillies tied at +1800.
The snub tracks with how the Dodgers' season actually ended: Los Angeles was swept by Milwaukee in the NLCS, falling short in its bid for a third straight championship. That leaves Shohei Ohtani and company with a full offseason of questions, including free agent decisions, even as the sportsbooks keep them on top.
Rounding out the board, the Rays and Mets sit at +2200, with the Padres, Guardians, Cubs and Braves all at +2500. The Royals and Cardinals bring up the rear at +9000. None of it matters until pitchers and catchers report, but for now the champs are already chasing someone else's number.
