Wins over Sam Houston and Missouri State, teams Yahoo Sports notes \"aren't anything special,\" got Western Kentucky back into contention. The Hilltoppers still have a difficult stretch ahead, with games at Middle Tennessee, at Jacksonville State and at Liberty before closing against Kennesaw State, which is part of why this one counts as a must-win.\n\nDelaware arrives having stopped its own three-game losing streak with a 61-38 win over Missouri State. At 1-2 in conference play, the Blue Hens are in a tight spot but not out of the race. They also have a tough slate coming, with three road games in their next four, starting with Kennesaw State after this one.\n\nWestern Kentucky has beaten Delaware before, according to Yahoo Sports, though the source does not specify when.","published_at":"2026-10-27T22:34:06.889443+00:00","source_count":3,"written_from":[{"outlet":"New York Post","publisher":"New York Post","title":"Delaware vs. Western Kentucky prediction, best bets: Hilltoppers have value in CUSA clash","url":"https://nypost.com/2026/10/27/betting/delaware-vs-western-kentucky-prediction-college-football-picks-odds-best-bets-tuesday/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Delaware vs. Western Kentucky prediction, odds: Week 9 college football Tuesday picks by proven model","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/delaware-western-kentucky-prediction-odds-week-9-college-football-tuesday-picks-bets/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Delaware vs Western Kentucky Prediction: Can the Hilltoppers Keep the Run Going?","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/delaware-vs-western-kentucky-prediction-081617153.html"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Delaware vs. Western Kentucky prediction, odds: Week 9 college football Tuesday picks by proven model","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/delaware-western-kentucky-prediction-odds-week-9-college-football-tuesday-picks/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Delaware vs. Western Kentucky CFB odds, picks: Back Hilltoppers to capture Conference USA shootout Tuesday","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/delaware-vs-western-kentucky-cfb-odds-picks-back-hilltoppers-to-capture-conference-usa-shootout-tuesday/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Delaware vs. Western Kentucky odds, college football picks: Back Hilltoppers to win Conference USA shootout","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/delaware-vs-western-kentucky-odds-college-football-picks-back-hilltoppers-to-win-conference-usa-shootout-tuesday/"},{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Delaware vs. Western Kentucky prediction, odds: Week 9 college football Tuesday picks by proven model","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/betting/news/delaware-western-kentucky-prediction-odds-week-9-college-football-tuesday-picks-best-bets/"}],"image":{"url":"https://sportshub.cbsistatic.com/i/2026/09/29/418a137e-ed02-4716-b825-8fed3a1856d3/nick-minicucci-cbs.jpg","credit":"CBS Sports","width":1920},"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
