The World Series, WNBA Finals, Monday Night Football and regular-season NBA and NHL games all land on the same date for a rare five-league slate.
Mark the remote and clear the couch: Oct. 26 is the 2026 sports equinox, the day the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and WNBA calendars all collide. It is being called one of the better Mondays the sports calendar can produce, and this year it comes loaded with championship stakes on top of the usual regular-season volume.
The headline attractions are the World Series and the WNBA Finals. Game 3 of the World Series has the Milwaukee Brewers visiting the Tampa Bay Rays at 8 p.m. ET, airing on FOX, FOX One and Fubo. At the same time, the WNBA Finals shift to Golden State, where the Valkyries host the Atlanta Dream in Game 5, shown on USA Network, CNBC, Peacock and Fubo.
Monday Night Football adds the NFL to the mix with Dallas in action, while the NBA and NHL round things out with their own regular-season games layered into the night. The overlap means fans juggling screens will have live baseball, basketball at two levels and hockey all competing for attention within the same few hours, making it a logistical puzzle as much as a viewing opportunity.
