Jonathan Taylor shrugs off wife's social media comments on trade rumors

The Colts running back says the swirling trade talk predates his wife's Instagram video and won't distract him from work.

Jonathan Taylor addressed his wife's social media activity after the Colts fell to the Minnesota Vikings 16-10 on Sunday, dropping Indianapolis to 2-5. Ayanna Taylor had posted a video on Instagram discussing her husband's uncertain future with the Colts, including hinting at the possibility of the family leaving Indianapolis.

The 27-year-old running back didn't push back on his wife weighing in. "It's been out there already, so I think her adding (to it)," Taylor said, noting the rumors existed well before her post. "You know everybody's on TikTok these days," he added, saying he just has to "come into work and stay focused."

The speculation around Taylor's future has intensified since the Colts fired General Manager Chris Ballard last week, a move that has fueled questions about what other changes might be coming to the roster. With Indianapolis struggling at 2-5, Taylor's name has drawn particular attention amid the uncertainty.

Taylor has tried to keep his focus on football rather than the chatter surrounding his future, even as his wife's public comments kept the trade talk in the spotlight.
