The 6-foot-1, 195-pound quarterback plays at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, and is rated a three-star prospect in the 2027 class.\n\nBryan announced the decision to Rivals reporter Hayes Fawcett, keeping it simple: \"I bleed red and black. I'm home.\" He had three other scholarship offers but went with the program he called a \"die-hard\" favorite.\n\nThe commitment makes Bryan Kirby Smart's second quarterback pledge in the 2027 class. It is also the kind of recruiting news that travels well beyond the usual recruiting circles, given his father's fame, but the football facts are straightforward: a young quarterback from Tennessee picking the in-conference power down the road.\n\nFor Georgia fans, it is an early building block in a class still years from signing day, with no games, camps or further decisions yet to shape how it plays out.","published_at":"2026-10-26T22:06:20.447411+00:00","source_count":4,"written_from":[{"outlet":"CBS Sports","publisher":"CBS Sports","title":"Bo Bryan commits to Georgia: Son of country music star Luke Bryan ranks as three-star QB in 2027 class","url":"https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/bo-bryan-commits-georgia-football-luke-bryan-son/"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Georgia Lands QB Commitment From Country Music Superstar Luke Bryan’s Son","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/georgia-lands-qb-commitment-country-034345357.html"},{"outlet":"The Athletic","publisher":"The Athletic","title":"Bo Bryan, QB son of country music star Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia","url":"https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7725024/2026/10/25/luke-bryan-son-georgia-football-commit/"},{"outlet":"ESPN","publisher":"ESPN","title":"QB recruit Bo Bryan, son of country music star, commits to Georgia","url":"https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50282450/qb-recruit-bo-bryan-son-country-star-commits-georgia"}],"more_coverage":[{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"QB Bo Bryan commits to Georgia, fulfilling lifelong dream of becoming a Bulldog","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/qb-bo-bryan-commits-georgia-225826321.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Bo Bryan, son of country music star Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia Bulldogs","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/bo-bryan-son-country-music-231940938.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"QB Bo Bryan, son of country music star Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia.","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/qb-bo-bryan-son-country-235119161.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"BGA quarterback Bo Bryan, son of Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia football, Kirby Smart","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/bga-quarterback-bo-bryan-son-001154366.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"BGA quarterback Bo Bryan, son of Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia football, Kirby Smart","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/bga-quarterback-bo-bryan-son-001154945.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Georgia lands son of music star in notable recruitment win","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/georgia-lands-son-music-star-012629712.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Luke Bryan's son commits to Georgia, fulfilling childhood dream","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/luke-bryans-son-commits-georgia-031813777.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Luke Bryan's son, 3-star QB, announces commitment","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/luke-bryans-son-3-star-142024883.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Bo Bryan, son of country music icon Luke Bryan, commits to Georgia football program","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/bo-bryan-son-country-music-164953388.html"},{"outlet":"Yahoo Sports","publisher":"Yahoo Sports","title":"Country Music Star's Quarterback Son Commits To University Of Georgia","url":"https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/country-music-stars-quarterback-son-172549829.html"}],"image":null,"embed":null,"license":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/","attribution":"Analysis data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
