Jaguars lose left tackle Anton Harrison for the season

Surgery on his injured right knee revealed a torn ACL, ending his season after the injury suffered in a win over Philadelphia in London.

Anton Harrison's season is over. The Jaguars' starting left tackle will miss the rest of the year after knee surgery confirmed a torn ACL in his right knee, league sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Harrison got hurt during Jacksonville's win over Philadelphia at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. He was placed on injured reserve earlier this month, with the team waiting on surgery results to determine the severity before confirming he would not return this season.

The injury forces the Jaguars to adjust up front, with Walker Little now expected to take over protecting quarterback Trevor Lawrence's blind side. It is a tough blow for a line that was already dealing with a difficult injury situation, and it adds another name to Jacksonville's list of absences as the team heads toward the trade deadline looking for options to shore up the position.
