British cyclist, 19, dies in serious incident in Volta a Portugal race

British cyclist Finlay Tarling, 19, died on Friday following a serious incident during the eighth stage of the Volta a Portugal cycling race, according to race organizers. Officials neutralized the remainder of the stage after his death. Tarling had previously won three bronze medals at the 2024 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships.
