Europe swelters under fifth heatwave of summer

Europe is experiencing its fifth heatwave of the summer, with temperatures in parts of France reaching 40 degrees Celsius. The heat has triggered a wildfire in southwest France. Separately, global sea temperatures also hit a record average of 21 degrees Celsius last month amid the ongoing extreme heat.
