Solar Eclipse: Three things we could learn on August 12
A total solar eclipse will cross northern Spain on August 12, marking one of the most anticipated astronomical events in Europe in years. The eclipse will be partial across much of the rest of Europe, including France, where the next total eclipse is not expected until September 3, 2081. Scientists plan to conduct experiments during the event, and eclipse enthusiasts, including a Singaporean family who has traveled internationally to follow past eclipses, are converging to view it.
