For Aaron Rodgers, Vindication Has A Pittsburgh Accent

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, broadcast live on ESPN, while speaking from Steelers training camp. Rodgers's comments came days after Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, invoked his Fifth Amendment right 111 times during questioning before the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Rodgers also criticized ESPN for what he characterized as insufficient coverage of the Fauci hearing compared to past coverage of his own vaccination status in 2021. Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio referenced Fauci's Fifth Amendment pleas in a press conference the same week.
